The aims of the Isi Inail 2024 Call
The Isi 2024 Call has the main objective of encouraging interventions to improve health and safety in the workplace, reducing the risks of accidents and occupational diseases.
A key aspect of this edition is the attention to technological innovation, promoting the adoption of modern and safe machinery, as well as advanced organizational models such as Workplace Safety Management Systems (OHMS).
An important element is the rewarding score reserved for companies that have already adopted a management system certified according to the UNI EN ISO 45001:2023 standard, rewarding those who demonstrate a concrete commitment to safety.
Furthermore, the call aims to involve micro and small businesses more, allowing the advance of up to 70% of the sums granted, facilitating access to funds even for less structured entities.

How the funds from the Isi 2024 tender are distributed
The ISI 2024 call provides for a division of the 600 million euros into five funding axes, differentiated based on the type of intervention and recipients:
- Axis 1 – 105 million euros for the prevention of chemical risks, noise, vibrations and manual handling of loads, with a subdivision into 93 million for physical risk reduction projects and 12 million for the adoption of Organizational Models and Safety Management Systems on Work (SGSL).
- Axis 2 – 165 million allocated to the prevention of accident risks linked to falls from heights, confined spaces or obsolete machinery.
- Axis 3 – 150 million dedicated to the removal of asbestos roofing and false ceilings, also including the installation of photovoltaic systems on the new roofing.
- Axis 4 – 90 million for micro and small businesses operating in the typical Made in Italy sectors, such as the production of oil, dairy products and wood processing, with particular attention to the risk deriving from wood dust.
- Axis 5 – 90 million allocated specifically to micro and small agricultural businesses, with a reserve for young farmers.
This diversification allows funds to be directed towards specific sectoral needs, guaranteeing targeted intervention.
