After the exterior draining coverings, LRVision expands its offering with MicrolithA seamless mineral coating intended for interior spaces. A strategic diversification which allows the French manufacturer to position itself on the high-end decorative flooring market.

LRVision diversifies into the interior flooring market

Known for its Résineo range, dedicated to permeable technical coatings for exteriors, LRVision is taking a new step in its development with the launch of Microlith, a new cast-in-place, seamless floor coveringmarks the French manufacturer’s entry into the interior design market.

Made in France, Microlith is composed of finely calibrated natural marble aggregates which give surfaces an elegant and contemporary mineral appearance. Developed as an alternative to polished concrete and traditional smooth coatings, it is aimed at both new residential projects and renovation operations.

Unlike a simple adaptation of an existing product, Microlith has been specifically formulated for living spaces. Richer in resin, with finer aggregates, it offers a continuous surface, soft to the touch and easy to maintain, while retaining the desired qualities of resistance and durability. © LRVision

With Microlith, we wanted to open a new path. The objective was not to transpose an exterior product indoors, but to formulate a specific coating, designed for living spaces: more resin, with finer aggregates, a softer surface underfoot and easy to maintain. The mastery of our processes allows us today to offer a product that is aesthetic, durable and timeless.“, explains Loïc Daniel, product development manager at LRVision.

Two collections to meet decorative trends

The fAbricant offers Microlith in four colors distributed in two aesthetic universes. There Organic collection, with Greige and Seashell shadesfavors light and natural shades intended to enhance the brightness of living spaces. There Contemporary collection, composed of Volcano and Pearly colorson the contrary, focuses on deeper tones in order to accompany urban or industrial atmospheres.

Thanks to its composition based on natural marble aggregates, the coating ensures, according to LRVision, excellent color stability over time as well as a uniform rendering over the entire surface.

A response to the constraints of renovation

LRVision also targets the renovation market with a product designed to limit heavy interventions. Microlith is applied in a thin thickness, from 6 mm, directly to various existing supports, whether concrete, screed, tiling or leveling. A feature which particularly facilitates the processing of thresholds.

Compatible with heated floors up to 50°C, the coating benefits from an A classification for indoor air emissions, has good UV stability and can be applied all year round in a temperature range between 10 and 35°C.

Beyond its technical performance, Microlith focuses on repairability in order to extend its lifespan. Its natural microcavities give it a mineral appearance and appreciable walking comfort, while simplifying its maintenance. In the event of micro-scratches or small impacts, a specific finishing wax makes it easy to revive the surface and preserve its aesthetic qualities over the long term.
