In new housing as in renovation projects, the integration of technical equipment constitutes an increasing challenge, particularly when the available space is limited. It is on this ground thatAtlantic positions Aquacosy Evolution AVA equipment which combines in the same device a thermodynamic water heater on extracted air and a very low consumption ventilation system.
The device recovers the calories present in the air extracted from the kitchen, bathroom or toilet. These feed the integrated heat pump, which ensures the production of domestic hot water before the air is discharged to the outside. The system thus ensures three essential functions: produce domestic hot water, renew indoor air and evacuate humidity from damp rooms.
Equipment designed for compact homes
One of the main interests of this architecture lies in the grouping of functions. Aquacosy Evolution AV does not require an external unit and can be installed in configurations where technical space is limited, notably in a closet. The solution is offered in two capacities, 100 and 185 liters, in order to cover different domestic hot water needs. It is compatible with self-adjusting or humidity-adjustable type A or B extraction vents and air inlets.

Atlantic announces energy efficiency of up to 137%, with an A+ energy class. According to the manufacturer, the equipment allows up to 71% energy savings compared to a conventional electric water heater.
Several operating modes make it possible to adapt production to housing uses:
– THE ECO+ mode automatically adjusts heating according to needs;
– THE BOOST mode simultaneously activates the heat pump and the electric backup to accelerate hot water production ;
– THE ABSENCE mode reduces consumption during unoccupied periods;
– Finally, a MANUAL mode allows you to adjust the temperature between 50°C and 62°C.
Remote control and simplified maintenance
Aquacosy Evolution AV also focuses on connectivity since it has a Wi-Fi connection and can be controlled from the Atlantic Cozytouch application. The user can notably modify operating modes such as monitoring their energy consumption remotely.
On the integration side, Atlantic announces a sound level limited to 40 dB(A). The manufacturer also highlights the ACI Hybrid anti-corrosion technologyintended to protect the tank and extend the life of the equipment. Made in France, the product also benefits from a five-year warranty on all of its parts.
For installers, several elements have been provided to facilitate implementation and maintenance. The removable connections simplify the connection of the conduits, while the settings are carried out step by step from the control box. The washable filter, accessible from the front, should also facilitate maintenance operations.
Finally, Atlantic finally offers different accessories to adapt the installation to the constraints of the site, including a universal height-adjustable tripod and a tripod intended for configurations with low ceilings.
