Technical professionals play a fundamental role with regard to building permits and licensing procedures, assuming responsibility for the construction works approved from a criminal, ethical, administrative and civil perspective. To support technicians, the idea of this work was therefore born, which is configured as a practical manual for rapid consultation and in-depth analysis of the checks to be carried out in the preliminary planning phases of building interventions on existing buildings: from building procedures to verification of conformity, from constraint analyzes for the planning of complexities up to the identification of critical issues. The aim is to offer a useful tool to the professional technician who must take charge, as a designer, of the authorization procedure for transformation works on existing buildings, or to the technician who must draw up a real estate due diligence also focused on verifying the building compliance of the property.
