The Revenue Agency has announced the program for the publication of new competition notices for the recruitment of officials and managers between second half of 2024 and the first half of 2025. Considering the expected numbers, these competitions also represent an excellent opportunity for those with a technical background, particularly in engineering, architecture and similar disciplines.

The technical professionals selected under these procedures will not only be able to work in the technical fieldbut also contribute to infrastructural and logistical improvement projects of great importance for the Revenue Agency. Let’s see the details.

Technical Revenue Agency competitions, end of 2024 – beginning of 2025

Between the end of 2024 and the first half of 2025, as indicated in the document released in recent days by the body itself, the Revenue Agency plans to publish calls for the recruitment of new officials and technicianswhich will be added to those already underway (competition for 148 Human Resources Officers, for 50 ICT Officers and for 27 various profile positions in Valle d’Aosta).

In particular, for those who own technical skills and qualificationsthey will be there two competitions of particular importance. Let’s see them, together with the participation requirements and the subjects to prepare for.

1. Competition for 60 technical officials for technical services and logistics processes

This competition is addressed to professionals specialized in the technical management of properties, in the management of works and in the supervision of tenders. Officials will also be responsible for activities related to safety in the workplace and to regulatory compliance of the buildings used by the Agency. THE requirements for participation will be the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (L-07), Industrial Engineering (L-09), Architectural Sciences (L-17), or Construction Sciences and Techniques (L-23).
  • Alternatively, Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (LM-23), Building Systems Engineering (LM-24), Safety Engineering (LM-26), Landscape Architecture (LM-03), Architecture and Building Engineering-Architecture (LM -04), or equivalent titles.

The matter exams, on which the candidates’ preparation will be assessed, will be:

  • Public contract law
  • Administrative and civil law
  • Regulations regarding safety in the workplace and fire prevention
  • Consolidated Construction Law
  • Technical construction regulations

2. Competition for 6 technical officials for the Real Estate Market Observatory

These professionals will be involved in the analysis and management of real estate data, collaborating in determining property prices and rents. They will also be responsible for compiling real estate statistics and carrying out sector studies. THE requirements for participation will be the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics (L-41), Civil and Environmental Engineering (L-07), Economic Sciences (L-33).
  • Alternatively, a degree in Civil Engineering, Economics and Business, Statistics or Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, or an equivalent master’s or specialist degree.

The matter exams, on which the candidates’ preparation will be assessed, will be:

  • Elements of administrative and civil law
  • Statistics and data analysis techniques
  • Economics and real estate valuation
  • Land registry systems and cartography

Competitions for Revenue Agency technicians, preparation

Candidates interested in the competitions that will be announced by the Revenue Agency must prepare on a wide range of subjectswhich range from administrative law to building regulationswith particular emphasis on safety management techniques and regulatory aspects of public constructions.
