This manual aims to become the reference for designers on the principles and rules of a wooden construction. The work addresses the design sector of wooden buildings in the round, analyzing themes such as: the sustainability and efficiency of the material, the fire behavior and in situations of environmental humidity, the lightness of the material and its behavior in seismic zone and in the sector of energy restoration. The theme of prefabrication is analyzed as a fundamental element of the design path, evaluating its indisputable benefits.
