December 31, 2025 officially ends the fourth three-year period of application of the training obligation for Italian architects, provided for by the Regulation on continuous training and governed by the implementation and coordination guidelines of the CNAPPC (downloadable at the end of the article).
By that date, each member must be in compliance with the acquisition of the 60 Professional Training Credits (CFP) envisaged for the three-year period, of which 48 CFP of a general nature and 12 CFP relating to ethics or professional disciplines. The credit threshold is reduced if the member has benefited from total or partial exemptions, in accordance with the guidelines (maternity/paternity, proven health reasons, suspension from activity, etc.).

How to check your situation: CNAPPC platform
To check your training position you need to access the dedicated CNAPPC platform, at gcfp.cnappc.it.
Inside the personal area, the status of the training obligation is visible via color code:
- GREEN: position in order, no action necessary
- RED: missing credits to be acquired by 12/31/2025
The system also allows you to download the CFP history and the detailed situation of the courses taken, including those in FAD mode.
Self-certifying CFPs and exemptions: what to check
In view of the deadline, it is advisable to check the correct transmission of:
- requests for the recognition of self-certifiable CFPs (participation in conferences, research activities, teaching, publications, etc.);
- requests for total or partial exemption for reasons set out in the Guidelines (maternity, illness, special cases);
- training activities uploaded by the territorial Orders, which may not yet be registered.
All requests must refer to the three-year period 2023-2025 and must be uploaded by the deadline.
What happens if you don’t reach 60 CFP
Failure to complete the obligation entails:
- checks on unloaded credits or any undeclared exemptions;
- reporting to the Disciplinary Council of the Order to which he belongs;
- opening of disciplinary proceedings.
In many cases, late regularization avoids more serious sanctions, but failure to acquire the mandatory CFPs – particularly the ethical ones – can lead to warnings or disciplinary sanctions.
Recovery of training debts from the previous three years (2020-2022)
The CNAPPC reminds you that, with the closure of the current three-year period, the verification of the residual debts relating to the previous three-year period (2020-2022) will also be carried out.
Members who have not recovered the missing credits will be reported to the respective Disciplinary Councils, who will proceed with the evaluation of individual cases according to the provisions of the Code of Ethics.
