Architectural prompt: prompt for risk analysis for DVR

Here we are again with the weekly column Architectural prompt: is the turn of the section The technician prompt. Generative tools for design professionals Curated by Avv. Giovanna Panucci, specialized in protection of personal data and artificial intelligence and expert in Prompt Engineering.

As we saw with the previous outings – You find them all here – This section has the aim of democratizing the use of artificial intelligence tools, making them accessible and useful also for engineers, architects, surveyors and technicians: each article translates the complexity of prompts in a practical and everyday use language, to help professionals fully exploit the potential of the AI. Let’s see today’s prompt.

Prompt for risk analysis for DVR (Legislative Decree 81/08)

The drafting of the DVR risk assessment document is an obligatory but often repetitive step. This prompt helps to standardize and speed up the analysis by asking the model not only to list the risks, but to return the information already in an operational format: a gravity matrix × probability with prevention measures, PPE and training obligations.

The value lies in the combination of:

  • Defined role (“Act as an expert in work safety and DVR”), who directs technical language;
  • Dynamic variables (sector, employees), which make the prompt reusable in multiple contexts;
  • Structured output (list of risks, measures, PPE, training), ready to be inserted in a DVR or used as a draft discussion with the RSPP;
  • Required format (matrix), which guides the IA to return a result immediately usable in a document or presentation to the employer.

In practice, with a single input we obtain a synthetic framework of the most relevant risks by the sector, accompanied by the minimum countermeasures required by the legislation. A simple but effective tool, useful especially for those who have to quickly prepare drafts of DVR, slide for periodic meetings or preliminary checks before an inspection.

Technical note: the prompt is compatible with all the main generative IA tools (chatgpt, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity), maintaining structure and format of unchanged outputs.

“Act as an expert in work safety and DVR editorial staff.
I am preparing the risk assessment document for a company that operates in the sector (sector) with (n °) employees.

  1. Apply the Tree-Of-Thougt technique: explores at least three risks analysis branches (frequent risks/low impact, rare/high impact risks, emerging risks in the sector). It indicates when a branch is not very relevant and the exclusion is motivane.
  2. Apply Layer-Of-THOUGHTS:
  • Layer 1: map of relevant legal and technical risks (specific sector).
  • Layer 2: organizational/procedural deficiencies that increase exposure.
  • Layer 3: concrete measures for the DVR (procedures, protocols, training, PPE).
  • Return three deliverable:
    • Risk matrix (gravity × probability).
    • Gap Analysis (shortcomings compared to regulatory obligations and best practices).
    • Operating plan operating plan with priorities, deadlines and managers.
  • Conclude with an executive synthesis that highlights the 5 most critical risks and the 5 most urgent corrective actions.
  • This prompt does not replace the in -depth analysis required of the RSPP or the consultant, but represents a practical accelerator: it helps to set the risk assessment in an orderly way, not to forget essential elements and immediately provide a structured draft to be integrated with inspections, company data and specific rules. It is therefore a tool that makes the daily work of those involving safety at work more efficient.
