BIM for Public Administration: an online operational laboratory

The live online courseedited by Edoardo Accettulli and Vittorio Mottola, Operational laboratory. BIM for Public Administration: from tender management to the implementation of the BIM methodology – which will be held over 4 days next November (5, 7, 12, 14 November 2024, 10:00-12:00) – has the objective of train the technical and administrative staff of the Public Administration that he will have to manage BIM tenders above the thresholdin line with UNI11337, as indicated by the new Procurement Code Legislative Decree 36/2023.

L’obligation in fact it takes place from 1 January 2025 for all works contracts worth more than one million euros, this is why it is necessary to proceed with complete training as soon as possible. This operational laboratory can also be considered preparatory for the BIM Manager, CDE Manager and BIM Coordinator certifications according to the protocol defined by ACCREDIA.

BIM operational laboratory for the PA, objectives and contents

The online operational laboratory in 4 days (for a total of 8 hours of training) intends to provide the skills necessary to work independently on projectsrelating to buildings and infrastructure, developed in BIM, manage workflows, coordinate activities with external suppliers.

The course will also teach how to prepare and publish a BIM tender compliant with the regulations and in line with company standards and internal procedures, and to implement and manage an internal CDE common to all projects and shared by all offices of the same Administration.

These are the four macro-themes addressed in the four lessons of 2 hours each:

  • Introduction to BIM;
  • Introduction to technical solutions;
  • Tools and regulations relating to the BIM methodology;
  • Information Specifications, Information Management offer, Information Management plan.

BIM operational laboratory for PA, modality

The “operational laboratory” is an innovative formula that combines practical-applicative in-depth analysis with maximum interactivity between teacher and participantthanks to a platform capable of replicating the classic dynamics of in-person courses (Zoom).

The Laboratory, with a limited number of places, includes a maximum participation of 40 people.
