Design housing comfort
Housing comfort is the result of a dynamic balance between man and the constructed environment, where air quality, thermo -sensitive control, acoustics and lighting intertwine with the individual and psychophysical responses of the individual. This volume proposes an interdisciplinary approach to the design of housing spaces, connecting the principles of neuroscience with technical solutions to ensure indoor well -being. Through a comparative analysis between the functioning of the human body and the performance of the building envelope, the authors offer a guide to the conscious design of the environments, relating to plant systems, materials and constructive technologies with the sensory perceptions of those who live in the spaces. The discussion is enriched by numerous application examples dedicated to residences, schools, hotels, workplaces and cellars, with particular attention to the management of healthiness, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. An indispensable tool for architects, engineers and designers engaged in the definition of spaces that improve the quality of daily life. Mirko Giuntinangerieregne, has been dealing with projects of eco -sustainable buildings for years. If with technical knowledge designs buildings according to the parameters of the CasaClima protocols with the sociological ones it deals with the effects of residential discomfort on the brain and consequently on individual attitudes and behaviors.
