Thermal bridges: evaluation and correction
The thermal bridges, not resolved in the design of a new or not attenuated building and made “harmless” in existing buildings, are the plastic representation of a unnecessarily and guilty energy, of low quality, intended for a rapid and expensive deterioration. This work is aimed at technicians who wish to understand the “functioning” of thermal bridges in order to be able to evaluate and correct them adequately. Through a very clear language, the book offers technicians a practical guide to the design of the corrective interventions of thermal bridges. Because it is not enough to enter data on a computer to have the solution to the problems of building and sustainable live. With this manual, the author provides readers with a constant stimulus to deepen the aspects of the thermo-hygrometric behavior of each structure, essential assessments not only to verify the energy performance of the building and comply with the provisions of the law, but also to design robust buildings and lasting over time and maintaining conditions of comfort and health within the environments. The work is therefore aimed at all designers who want to deepen the topic, because it has the advantage of presenting the concepts in a linear way, accompanying the reasoning with various clarifying examples.
