Ecobonus for non-polluting vehicles: who is entitled to it, natural persons
Non-polluting vehicles are entitled to the Ecobonus natural persons That, from 1 January to 31 December 2024purchase cars, motorcycles and mopeds in Italy, including through financial leasing maintaining ownership for at least 12 months. These i vehicles allowed:
– M1, intended for the transport of people, with at least 4 wheels and a maximum of 8 seats, in addition to that of the driver:
- brand new;
- with CO emissions2 not exceeding 135 g/km;
- Euro 6 class or higher;
- With list price including optional extras (excluding VAT) not exceeding: 35 thousand euros for the 0-20 g/km and 61-135 g/km CO bands2; 45 thousand euros for the 21-60 g/km CO range2.
– Le, da L1e to L7e, mopeds and motorcycles with two, three or four wheels without power limits:
- brand new;
- electric or non-electric;
- non-electric Euro Class not lower than 5.
In relation to purchases made by natural persons, thecertification that the value of the ISEE relating to the family unit is less than 30 thousand euros it's a declaration which certifies that the members of the same household have not already benefited from the same contribution (accompanied by a copy of the identity document and tax code of the buyer and the other members of the household).
They can access the contributions provided for the Le category, by Law 178/2020 also legal entitiesAnd There is no obligation to maintain ownership for at least 12 months.
Ecobonus for non-polluting vehicles: who is entitled to it, legal entities
Non-polluting vehicles are entitled to the Ecobonus legal entities That, from 1 January to 31 December 2024 purchase vehicles in Italy, including financial leasing, with obligation to use car sharing for commercial purposes and maintaining ownership of the vehicle for at least 24 months.
Legal entities are also admittedAndfrom 1 January to 31 December 2024, purchase cars (M1 vehicles) with emissions of up to 60 g/km CO2 with car rental purposes other than car sharing. In this case the obligation to maintain ownership and purpose of use is 12 months. These are the vehicles allowed:
–M1, intended for the transport of people, with at least 4 wheels and a maximum of 8 seats, in addition to that of the driver:
- brand new;
- with CO emissions2 not exceeding 60 g/km;
- Euro 6 class or higher;
- with list price including optional extras (excluding VAT) not exceeding: 35 thousand euros for the 0-20 g/km of CO range2; 45 thousand euros for the 21-60 g/km CO range2.
Ecobonus for non-polluting vehicles: who is entitled to it, SMEs
Non-polluting vehicles are entitled to the Ecobonus SMEsincluding legal entities, which from 1 January to 31 December 2024 they buy in Italy commercial vehicles (category N1 and N2)also in financial leasing, intended for the transport of goods:
- brand new;
- equipped with a total mass of no more than 3.5 t for the N1 category and no more than 12 t for the N2 category;
- electrical.
The dates and methods for booking contributions for the purchase of M1 category vehicles to be used for the taxi service or rental with driver and contributions for the installation of LPG and CNG systems on M1 category vehicles will be made known with a notice following.
Ecobonus for non-polluting vehicles: how to request it
The process for granting the Ecobonus for non-polluting vehicles involves four phases:
- Reservation: the dealer/reseller, once registration on the platform has been completed, proceeds with the reservation of the contribution for each vehicle and, based on the availability of the fund, receives confirmation of the reservation made;
- Delivery: the dealer/reseller recognizes its customer's contribution by offsetting the purchase price;
- Reimbursement: the manufacturer/importer of the vehicle reimburses the dealer/retailer for the contribution paid;
- Recovery: the manufacturer/importer of the vehicle receives from the dealer/retailer all the useful documentation to recover the contribution refunded in the form of a tax credit.
