Emilia-Romagna: 15 priority interventions
In Emilia-Romagna, they are expected 15 interventions financed by the Ministry. The most relevant project concerns the safety of the city of Parma and of the Colorno hydraulic hub, in Sala Baganza, with an investment of 20.8 million euros, which is added to the funds allocated in previous programming and the contribution of the Region. Other interventions include the safety of the Tiepido torrent in the Panaro basin, a Castelnuovo Rangonewith 12.7 million euros, the strengthening of the embankments a Goro and Comacchiowith 7.5 and 7.2 million euros respectively, and the completion of the interventions on San Leo clifffor 3.4 million euros.
In addition to structural interventions, the Emilia-Romagna Region has launched a call to support the purchase of protective devices in the areas affected by the May 2023 flood. Approx 10 million euros, the result of donations received through the current account “Help for Emilia-Romagna”are available to property owners in the provinces of Reggio-Emilia, Modena, Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, Rimini and Forlì-Cesena. Applications may be submitted by January 31, 2025.
The announcement allows you to request contributions for the purchase of protection systems such as anti-flooding bulkheads, water barriers, anti-backflow valves, collection wells and pumps. Funding for emergency equipment is also provided, such as electric generators, sandbags, toilets with forced drainage. The contribution will cover the 100% of the expense incurred, up to a maximum of 3,000 euros and it will be cumulative with other regional and national concessions.
Contributions may be requested by owners of residential properties who reside at least in the homes subject to the interventions from 1 May 2023. In case of interventions in condominiumsthe administrator will submit the application. The eligible expenditure includes the purchase and, if necessary, the installation of the devices. All expenses must be documented and expenditure made in cash or for self-employed work is not permitted. The interventions will have to be completed within 10 months from the approval of the list of beneficiaries and the reported expenses. At this link you can submit your application.
Lazio: security and consolidation in Vallepietra and Rome
Lazio is the recipient of twenty interventionswith a total investment of almost 70 million euros. The most significant work is the consolidation of the rock face of the Holy Trinity in Vallepietra (RI)for which 18 million euros have been allocated. Another important intervention is the hydraulic safety of the urban area of Torrino, in Romewith financing of 9.4 million euros.
Abruzzo: interventions to reduce hydraulic risk
In Abruzzo, they were foreseen twenty interventions with an overall budget of 36.1 million euros. Among the main projects is the one for the reduction of hydraulic risk and the recovery of the river ecosystem of the Vomano river Pineto (TE)financed with 7 million euros.
Umbria: interventions in Foligno, Massa Martana and Montecastrilli
Umbria will benefit from four interventions priorities, for a total of 30.2 million euros. Two of these interventions are intended for city of Folignowith a total investment of 26.7 million euros, while other funds are reserved for Massa Martana and Montecastrilli.
These projects aim to prevent landslides and floods, phenomena that have significantly affected the regions in recent years. The arrival of the decrees was announced by MASE through a press release published on the institutional website of the Ministry, 11 November 2024.
