Italian Architect Award
This award is aimed at selecting professional architects, planners, landscape architects or conservators – members of an Italian Order, Italian citizens and present on the Single National Register – on the basis of aactivity characterized by high disciplinary quality and representative of a exemplary professional and civil careercarried out individually or in teams, including internationally.
As stated in the announcement, “candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their contribution to the discipline, substantiated by completed projects that have contributed to safeguarding, promoting and spreading culture, the Italian territory and architectural innovation, especially in transformative processes”. Particular attention will be paid to the activity carried out and to works created and completed by the candidates in the last 3 yearsin Italy and abroad.
Young Talent of Italian Architecture
The Young Talent of Italian Architecture award is instead aimed at selecting architects, planners, landscape architects or conservators, with less than 40 years of age at the time of publication of the Notice – members of an Italian Order, Italian citizens, and present on the national Register – who individually or in teams, including international ones, stand out for theirprofessional activity carried out with particular attention to the promotion and diffusion of architectural culture in the transformative field.
How to apply
At the Awards it is possible apply by 12:00 on 25 July 2024via the platform https://concorsiawn.it/festadellarchitettura-2024. Questions and requests for clarification can be formulated via the same platform (by 12:00 on 7 May 2024).
Nominations can be proposed – by May 17, 2024, 12:00 – also via:
- reporting of candidates from colleagues registered in the single national register or graduates in architecture even if not registered in the professional register;
- reporting by a list of advisors selected by the CNAPPCidentified in the directors of the main architecture magazines in Italy (Casabella, Domus, Il Giornale dell'Architettura, The Plan, Interni).

Award ceremony and project publication
The awards ceremony will be held in Rome on October 25thduring the annual Architect's Festival*, which is increasingly characterized as an important moment of political and cultural confrontation. The best works selected by the Jury will be displayed in the exhibition and published on the CNAPPC websites, as well as at
media partners and the national press.
It will also follow new edition of “Yearbook”the publication which every year brings together a selection of the projects nominated for the Awards and which is distributed in Italy and abroad as testimony to the value of Italian architects and the quality of architecture.
