What does the tender include?

Agricultural businesses in the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily will be able to participate in the tender, which provides for the installation of photovoltaic systems of up to one thousand kWp for each agricultural building. Among the key points of the tender, there is the possibility of obtaining a non-repayable contribution up to 80% of eligible expenses.

Furthermore, companies can adopt shared self-consumption solutions and participate in an aggregated form, allowing for greater optimization of resources.

This call represents a great opportunity for companies in the sector, which could see their energy costs eliminated, a significant advantage in a context of rising energy prices and the transition to renewable energy sources.

Participation methods and timing

Applications to participate in the Pnrr Parco Agrisolare tender can be submitted starting from from 16 September 2024 to 14 October 2024. Requests must be submitted through the portal of Gestore dei Servizi Energetici SpA (GSE), which will manage and process applications by December 2024.

The aim is to allocate the entire financial allocation by the end of the year, in line with the deadline imposed by the European Union for the use of PNRR funds.

Interested companies will have to submit complete documentation of the proposed projects, which will be evaluated based on sustainability and energy innovation criteria. It will be important to ensure that photovoltaic systems comply with the power limits set by the tender, up to a maximum of one thousand kWp per system, without compromising agricultural land.

News and rules of the third call for proposals Pnrr Parco Agrisolare

This third call confirms the innovations introduced in the second call of 2023, with the aim of making the measure more accessible and advantageous for agricultural businesses.

The main innovation is the introduction of the concept of shared self-consumption, which allows companies to join together to make the most of the energy produced by photovoltaic systems. This solution allows for the optimization of energy distribution, further reducing costs for each participating company.

Another significant innovation is the possibility of participating in an aggregate form, a modality that favors collaboration between companies and the creation of larger and more energy-efficient projects. Furthermore, the non-repayable contribution of up to 80% of eligible expenses represents a significant incentive to favor the energy transition and support agricultural companies in their growth.
