De Dietrich will distribute under its brand high-power cold units and heat pumps from the Italian CLINT, as well as fan coils and regulation from the French Eurevia.
BDR Thermea, to which De Dietrich belongswas born in 2009 at the initiative of the Dutch Remeha who organized the meeting, in the same group, of brands with a strong reputation in their country of origin: Remeha (Holland, 1935), BAXI (Italy, UK, 1866), De Dietrich (France, 1684), Brötje Heizung in Germany, Chappée (France, 1860), Baymark (Turkey), Senertec (combined heat and power production units), megaflo (electric heating and hot water tanks in England).
The group today belongs to a Dutch foundation. Since then, acquisitions have continued, notably two recent and particularly important ones for BDR Thermea offers :
– the French Eurevia in 2023;
– The Italian group GI Holding, which brings the CLINT, KTK, NOVAIR brands;
– And MONTAIR within the BDR Thermea group.
CLINT designs and manufactures reversible heat pumps and high power air/water and water/water chillers.

A big effort in thermodynamics
The BDR Thermea group, with €1.9 billion in turnover in 2025, has decided to become a major player in thermodynamics for all markets : individual houses, the tertiary sector and collective housing, and chooses to rely on the De Dietrich brandwith a strong reputation, for this development on the French market.
France and Germany together represent 50% of the heat pump market in Europe. For France, he chose De Dietrich brand as the main vector of this effort. This involves both raising awareness of the group’s solutions in new construction and pushing for the conversion of boilers to heat pumps. About 4 millions of individual De Dietrich boilers are installed in France and the brand has equipped thousands of boiler rooms with its collective gas and oil boilers.
De Dietrich, which manages around 73,000 maintenance contracts across De Dietrich Services (ex-Serv’elit) for its brand, but also for Oertli and Chappée, will also use this customer database to push for boiler to heat pump conversion. The Metzwiller research center now devotes 3,000 m2 At development of heat pumps and their regulation. 200 engineers are mobilized there. The center has filed more than 77 patents since 2021. There is no longer manufacturing in Mertzwiller, but it is still the site of the spare parts service for the BDR Thermea brands in France and De Dietrich Services : more than 300 technicians, including 230 in the field and around 135,000 interventions in 2025.
BDR Thermea has created in France a team of 30 prescribers responsible, in the field and via telephone assistance to designers, design engineers and installers, of making known the thermodynamic solutions marketed by De Dietrich. THE De Dietrich installer network and its training centers in France, where around 400 trainees pass per year, will also contribute to this effort towards thermodynamics.

A very broad offering in thermodynamics
L’thermodynamic offer from De Dietrich therefore now extends from generators to transmitters. Eurevia is in fact a specialist in fan coils and their regulation. He is leader world for equipping cruise ships, which require particularly quiet fan coils, and is striving to develop in construction, particularly in hotels, offices and new collective housing.
Eurevia offers 2-pipe, 2-pipe/2-wire and 4-pipe fan coils to distribute heating and cooling. Its cPIA 4 SLIM range reaches flow rates of 220 m3/h for heating powers of 1380 W and cold powers of 1490. It is the only manufacturer to offer fan coils directly connectable to urban heating and cooling networks, whose pressures are higher. Its rSMART cPIA range ranges from 1 to 7.7 kW and is intended for multi-zone power. Eurevia has developed réGATE, a centralized control interface which allows you to control an entire home, including heating, air conditioning, air purification, connected objects, etc., room by room or for the entire home.
Eurevia also manufactures aCQUAREVIA reversible air/water heat pumps with powers of 55 to 343 kW for heating, 48 to 303 kW for cooling and 54 to 329 kW for DHW production. They have Title V for their performance to be taken into account in an RE2020 calculation. These machines operate on R454C, but are in the process of being discontinued in favor of new R290 heat pumps produced by the Italian CLINT.

CLINT’s heat pumps and cold units
For its part, the Italian CLINT, which fell into the hands of BDR Thermea with the recent takeover of GI Holding, knows how to manufacture almost everything in the world of thermodynamics. CLINT produces small power air-cooled heat pumps for residential and commercial applications, from 9.7 to 27 kW, operating on R452B, R454B or R454C, larger machines from 32 to 182 kW on R454C, as well as R290 air/water machinescapable of producing hot water up to 70°C and powers reaching 166 kW, air/water chillers with R290 up to 226 kW, or R1234ze up to 600 kW. CLINT also manufactures chillers and air/water heat pump with R454Bwith axial fans and compressors scrollup to 1051 kW, with R513A up to 1533 kW. The manufacturer also offers heat pump and water/water cold unitsincluding a range capable of producing hot water up to 80°C thanks to R513A (GWP = 631), a fluid replacing R134a.
CLINT claims to know how to design and manufacture machines using H2O water as a fluid, R290 and many other fluids. De Dietrich will launch a general public communications campaign in the fall on “emotion: the perfect temperature to meet the extraordinary“.
