Perspective Smart City it’s a event dedicated to innovation and sustainable development of the cities of the futureorganized by The Plan and Gruppo Maggioli. The goal is to promote a dialogue between industry experts, designers, administrators and companiesexploring technological and architectural solutions to make cities more efficient, sustainable and human-scale.

The event – ​​to be held in Naples from 9 to 11 December 2024at the Royal Continental Hotel, – presents itself as a point of reference for discussing the challenges and opportunities offered by the so-called Smart Cities, analyzing completed projects and innovative strategies to improve the quality of urban life.

Perspective Smart City: who is it aimed at?

The initiative is designed to involve a varied audience, come on architecture, engineering and urban planning professionalsgarlic public and private administrators interested in understanding and developing innovative urban policies. They are invited to participate also technology companies, startups, academics and researchersas well as all those who work in the sector environmental sustainability and of local economic development.

Perspective Smart City: program

Here is an overview of the rich program of the three-day event:

  • Day 1 (Monday 9 December 2024, afternoon) > Innovation and Design: The first day is dedicated to exploring the latest trends in urban planning and architecture. We will talk about intelligent infrastructures, sustainable construction and advanced technologies for the management of urban spaces. Speeches by experts and round tables will allow us to delve deeper into key themes and discuss best practices.
  • Day 2 (Tuesday 10 December 2024, morning and afternoon) > Sustainability and Energy Transition: The second day focuses on sustainability and energy efficiency. Pioneering projects from cities that have already implemented green solutions will be presented, and the challenges related to the transition to renewable energy will be discussed. Thematic workshops they will allow participants to acquire practical skills and learn about new tools.
  • Day 3 (Wednesday 11 December 2024, morning) > Smart Governance and Digital Technologies: The third day explores the role of intelligent governance and digital technologies in optimizing urban services. Topics such as the Internet of Things, urban data management and solutions to improve mobility and accessibility in cities will be explored in depth.
