The exercise of the profession of tourist guide in Italy is regulated by law 13 December 2023 n. 190 and from the Ministerial Decree of 26 June 2024 n. 88
- second grade secondary education diploma or other diploma declared equivalent or equivalent by the competent authorities;
- or a three -year degree or one specialist degreemasterful or of the old system.
The application for participation must be submitted exclusively online, through the Inta portal (in this page), By February 27, 2025. The payment of a participation fee of 10 euros is required.
Whoever passes all tests gets the qualification and come registered in the national list of tourist guides.
Tourist Guide Call 2025: exam tests and subjects
The exam for the achievement of the qualification to the profession of tourist guide must ascertain the professionalism and specific skills of the candidates. It is divided into three tests: one written testone oral test and one technical-practical test. For each test, a maximum score of 40 points can be assigned and the test is intended to be exceeded (for the transition to the next) if the candidate has reported a score equal to or greater than 25 points.

The written test will take place exclusively through the use of IT tools and digital platforms, even in decentralized offices and also with multiple consecutive non -contextual sessions. The oral exam will also verify the knowledge of at least one foreign language (minimum level B2).
The examining commission, At least 40 days before carrying out the exam tests, will articulate the program of subjects object of the exam tests, setting the criteria for the assignment of the scores and the methods of evaluating the tests. At least 30 days before of the date set for the start of the oral tests, the Commission will determine the List of contexts of cultural, artistic, archaeological and landscape heritage which will be the subject of the technical-practical test.
