Photovoltaics, energy efficiency, biomethane, hydroelectric plants and business support: there are various areas of intervention in the 2027-2029 Budget Law draft that concern the energy transition and environmental policies. In fact, the maneuver provides for new resources to encourage investments in renewable sources, improve the energy performance of buildings and systems and accompany companies on the decarbonisation path.
As we have already seen, the bill also intervenes on tax deductions for interventions to recover the building heritage, energy requalification and reduction of seismic risk, confirming for 2027 the differentiated rates between main residence and other properties and extending some measures >> learn more with this article.

Energy transition: prospects and next steps
The measures contained in the draft Budget Law outline a framework of interventions that aims to support the energy transition through investments in systems, infrastructures and technologies for the production and efficient use of energy.
However, the distribution of financing over several years, in particular starting from 2028, highlights the need for medium-term investment planning. To evaluate the actual scope of the measures, it will also be crucial to know the criteria for access to contributions, the beneficiaries and the implementation methods.
For the moment, the framework remains the one outlined by the bill: the parliamentary process may make changes to the provisions and, for various measures, further implementation steps will be necessary. It will therefore be important to monitor the evolution of the maneuver to understand how the planned allocations will translate into concrete opportunities for investment and intervention.
