The Ministry of Environment and Energy Security has launched a new measure called National Energy Incomeintended for low-income families. This program allows you to install a domestic photovoltaic system to serve your home.

What is energy income?
Energy Income is a measure introduced by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security through the decree of 8 August 2023. This program aims to support families with a ISEE less than 15,000 euroswhich can be increased to 30,000 euros for families with at least four dependent children, allowing them to install domestic photovoltaic systems with a power between 2 and 6 kW at no cost.
Photovoltaic systems must be placed on roofs and surfaces of residential properties owned or used by the applicants, or on appurtenances of the same properties, including land. Each family unit has the possibility of submitting only one application and benefiting only once from the incentives.
The selected installers will not only take care of the installation of the systems, but will also guarantee maintenance and performance monitoring for ten years. In addition, they will provide a multi-risk insurance policy to cover any problems related to the system.

Application portal opening
Starting from 12:00 PM, July 5, 2024it will be possible to send requests for access to the Energy Income through the GSE portal. The portal will remain open until the resources available for each geographical area are exhausted.
The one-stop procedure will adopt a chronological criterion, giving priority to the applications submitted first. In addition, the GSE website will provide a counter updated in real time to monitor the availability of the fund.

Application procedure
To submit the request, the beneficiary, or a third party delegated as the implementing entity, must fill in the required information on the GSE portal.
Both will have to sign the Declaration in lieu of a notarial deedwhich will then be uploaded together with the identification documents. This step is essential to ensure the correctness and validity of the application.
