Why choose a built-in cistern
Despite these challenges, built-in cisterns stand out for their clean and modern aesthetic appearance to which water efficiency is also added. This is why the market always offers more solutions that simplify be theinstallation but above all the maintenance of these products.
Among the different models on the market, the Schwab 199 cassettes of the family Fluidmaster they are a silent, efficient and easy to maintain solution thanks to simple access panels and few internal components.
The advantages of an easy-to-maintain built-in cistern
The ease of maintenance of these boxes is given not only by the design, but also and above all by the presence of few internal components. This minimalist design It therefore allows not only to reduce the components to be replaced but also greatly simplifies the repair and replacement operations of the parts.
In detail, the ergonomic design allows quick and easy access to the internal components, minimizing intervention times and ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the system. Furthermore, the availability of easily replaceable spare parts ensures that the cassettes can be kept in perfect condition over time.
Regarding instead the performanceadvanced flush technology and flow control mechanisms ensure optimal water efficiency, reducing water consumption without compromising performance.
Simplified maintenance thanks to few components
Let’s assume we need to perform the replacement of the float or the drain valve in one of these cassettes.
To carry out similar maintenance operations on this cassette model, simply carry out the following steps.
- Plaque removal (with relative support and actuators) This way you can access the inside of the box.
- Removal of support bridge of the keys. At this point it will be possible to extract the drain valve or the float or both as needed.
- Exhaust valve extractionthis unlocks from above and consequently outside the water. A very important aspect because since it is not immersed in water it does not live by crystallization. It is also flexible and can be extracted in a single movement.
- Once the water tap is closed it will be possible to unscrew the water connection fitting, this is already included equipped with ABS key which further facilitates disassembly.
- At this point it will be enough remove the float and replace it.
The float supplied is the 747 Fluidmasterthis filling valve has the ability to work at both high and low pressure from 16 up to 0.2 bar and is very silent.
Various types of installations
These cisterns offer different types of installation to adapt to various project needs from traditional floor-standing toilets, to wall-hung toilet modules up to the self-supporting module for double service.
