ANICA and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria

The introduction by the ANICA President, David Herzog – CEO of HOVAL and Swiss Chamber Board Member (Zanica, Bergamo) – leaves no doubt about ANICA’s desire to support balanced and multi-technological developmentwhich produces the best energetic, ecological and economic results in the life cycle of the systems.

In 2024 our work focused on some fundamental aspects for the strategic development of our association, laying solid foundations for sustainable and integrated growth. First, we decisively addressed key issues related to Governance and Compliancestrengthening the internal structure of our institution. At the same time, we have refined our strategic positioning in the “professional heating”consolidating skills through the development and formalization of our partner network. These steps have proven crucial to improving our ability to respond in an integrated way to technological and regulatory challenges of the sector. Secondly, we have become increasingly aware of the crucial role that ANICA plays in “professional heating”, with its integrative approach to solutions” Herzog said in his introductory speech.

And he added: “Between the central themes of next year our attention to the measures will be fundamental decarbonization of businesseswhich follow the principle of implementation in: replacement, integration, recovery, regulation and optimization of the life cycle of systems. Added to this is an intensification of our own role of expert consultants in these areas, where we see great growth potential. Finally, we aim to take a further step forward in the field of communication and training, both internal and external.”

The 2024 for ANICA it was immediately configured as a year of restartfull of activities carried out in a professional manner, given the high level of specialization of all the people involved, including Members, Staff and Consultants of the Association. THE’active involvement of members was an element of high added value in 2024, as many members took up the challenge, launched by President Herzog, of relaunch of the Associationreturning from a few years of stagnation, with the desire and energy to build a new concept suited to the times.
