Required profiles and opportunities for technicians

The call presents a strong interest in the technical sector: among the sought-after figures are engineers, designers, construction managers, project managers, GIS specialists, experts in sustainability and urban design, as well as operational roles such as construction site inspectors and road management technicians.

For graduates in technical disciplines, the opportunities concern in particular:

  • infrastructural and plant design,
  • works management and construction site management,
  • project management in the construction and road sectors,
  • urban planning and sustainability.

Even technical graduates (such as surveyors) can find opportunities in various profiles, especially in the roles of technical support, investigation, work accounting and construction site control, in line with the management and maintenance activities of the urban heritage.

As regards the general requirements, it is necessary to be between 18 years of age and the pension limit established by current legislation, have Italian citizenship or citizenship of a member country of the European Union (with excellent knowledge of the Italian language), psycho-physical suitability for employment, enjoyment of civil and political rights in the country of citizenship, etc. The specific requirements vary for each profile and are detailed in the technical data sheets attached to the announcement, but in general the possession of coherent educational qualifications, possible professional qualifications and experience in the sector is required. Question: how and when to apply

The application for participation must be submitted exclusively electronically via the dedicated platform.

  • Applications open: 17 April 2026
  • Application deadline: May 4, 2026, at 12:00

To participate it is necessary to register online, fill out the application, attach documentation (CV, qualifications, identity document) and send the application within the established deadlines. The system issues a receipt with a unique identification code.

Selection tests

The selection procedure for the 2026 Diritti per Roma competition is divided into several phases:

  • possible pre-selective test (in case of high number of candidates), with multiple choice test;
  • evaluation of qualifications (maximum 30 points);
  • technical oral test on the specific subjects of the profile (maximum 50 points);
  • aptitude interview to verify transversal skills and motivation (maximum 20 points).

Regarding the contents of the tests, the notice refers to the individual Profile Technical Sheets (attached to the notice, you can find them in this page), which define in detail the matters being assessed. In general, the pre-selective test – if activated – consists of multiple choice tests on elements of technical-professional culture and logic, while the oral test has a strictly technical content and focuses on the specific skills required for the profile (for example design, building regulations, public works, safety, construction site and infrastructure management). The subsequent aptitude interview is instead aimed at verifying transversal skills such as problem solving, aptitude for the role, relational skills and motivation, in line with the company’s operational activities.

To access the final ranking it is necessary to achieve a minimum overall score of 42 points in the oral and aptitude tests. In the event of a tie, the younger candidate will prevail. Official communications (dates, locations, results) will be published on the company website as notification.

Recruitment and rankings

The final rankings will be valid for three years and can be used for both permanent and fixed-term hires, based on the organizational needs of the company.

The contractual framework is that of the Tertiary Distribution and Services CCNL, with different levels depending on the profile. There is a variable trial period and the possibility of professional growth over time.
